The Orange shares its lime zigzag fabric with our Mudgee chairs but sits lower and squarer, on simple timber sleds rather than angled legs. That makes it a good companion piece: use Mudgee armchairs and Orange slippers together in one lounge.
Four shapes are shown:
- a thick back cushion leaning into an open walnut sled frame
- a puffed three-channel seat and back on a sled frame
- a bolster back on two timber posts over a deep seat
- a slipper seat on a timber frame with tapered legs
All are armless and compact, easy to group around a coffee table or line up along a window. Glides are fitted to every foot so the chairs slide quietly on timber or tile.
Construction: solid timber sled and leg frames, walnut-tone lacquer; plywood decks, high-resilience foam with fibre wrap, contract woven fabric.
Where it works: cafe lounge corners, hotel lobbies, salons and co-working cafes.
Options: frame type, stain, fabric (COM accepted).
