Natural cane webbing set into the side frames is the common thread of the Hahndorf family. It lightens chunky upholstered seating and adds a handmade detail at eye level for guests walking past.
Pieces shown:
- a cream linen club chair with L-shaped walnut and cane arms wrapping a deep seat
- an oxblood leather armchair on a sloping walnut frame with cane-filled side triangles
- an olive aged-leather loveseat with a channelled back and rounded cane side panels
- an oxblood channel-back two-seater on walnut legs with cane arm panels
The two-seaters work as short lounge banquettes facing a low table, and the chairs suit hotel lounges and reading corners.
Construction: solid timber frames with walnut-tone lacquer; cane webbing in routed frames; plywood and timber carcass with high-resilience foam; leather or contract fabric.
Where it works: hotel lounges, cellar doors, wine bars and restaurant lounges.
Care: cane suits indoor and fully covered areas only.
Options: chair or two-seat lengths, leather or fabric (COM/COL accepted), stain.
