Rust chenille and dark walnut give the Kalgoorlie family a warm, outback-toned palette that suits timber-heavy fitouts. The frames are exposed solid timber with angled compass or A-frame legs, and the seat and back are thick upholstered blocks in a textured rust-red chenille with a lighter cross-hatch pattern.
Arm and frame variations shown:
- flat timber paddle arms on an A-frame leg
- a V-shaped side frame that runs from floor to arm
- straight timber arms on splayed legs
- upholstered padded arm caps
- a curved one-piece back with flat timber arms
- an armless slipper version on a V-leg timber base
The rear view shows a fully upholstered back with a piped edge and timber cross-rail, so the chairs look finished from every angle in an open lounge.
