For the guest who orders a flat white and opens a laptop, the Docklands gives a private, quiet seat without taking up a booth. Tall upholstered side wings and a high back wrap the sitter on three sides, cutting noise and screening sightlines. A small timber tablet folds out from one wing for a cup or laptop, and a power and charging socket is built into the inner side panel.
The chair is upholstered in a blue woven fabric over a square, box-shaped body and stands on four slim black metal legs with glides, so cleaners can mop underneath.
Construction: timber and plywood frame, high-resilience foam with fibre wrap, contract fabric; powder-coated steel legs; electrical module wired to a plug-in lead (installed and tested by a licensed electrician on site to local requirements).
Where it works: co-working cafes, hotel lobbies, airport and station lounges, library cafes.
Options: left- or right-hand tablet, socket module type, fabric colour (COM accepted), leg colour.
