A chair for venues that want a bit of colour on the floor. The seat and back are fully upholstered in a chunky boucle-style fabric, woven in rust-red and cream vertical stripes, which looks lively but hides marks well.
The frame is solid timber in a warm cherry-brown finish. The back and seat rails are formed as one continuous bent shape that wraps the upholstery, and the rear legs and front legs are set as an A-shaped trestle on each side, which gives the chair a recognisable profile from across the room. The leg shape also makes it surprisingly stable on uneven floors.
Construction: solid hardwood frame, bent-formed rails, plywood back and seat panels with high-resilience foam, fabric fixed from behind. Glides can be chosen for tiles, timber or concrete.
Where it works: cafes, restaurants, bars and hotel dining rooms with warm timber and earthy colour palettes.
Care: a tightly woven fabric is the practical choice; a stain-resistant treatment or a wipeable vinyl alternative can be specified.
Options: fabric (COM accepted), timber stain, glides. Dimensions are confirmed on the shop drawing.
