The Paddington pairs a bentwood-style curved frame with modern upholstery. A black steel tube traces the top of the back and arms, holding a band of natural cane webbing in two curved panels. Below it, a smooth taupe leather-look shell wraps the chair, and the inner seat and back are in olive green. Slim black legs with curved braces carry it off the floor.
It is a dining-height tub chair, so it works at restaurant tables as well as in lounges; the close-up shows it pulled up to a timber table. Its rounded back looks good from behind, which matters for chairs facing the room or an aisle.
Construction: powder-coated steel frame, cane webbing in a steel surround, plywood shell with high-resilience foam, faux leather; glides on all legs.
Where it works: restaurants, hotel dining rooms, wine bars and cafe lounges.
Options: shell and seat colours, frame colour, fabric or leather (COM/COL accepted).
