The Mosman looks relaxed but sits properly. Its tall back is upholstered in a tan leather-look material that is gathered across the top, giving a soft, pillow-like look, while the shape underneath is firm and supportive. The padded seat sits on a light solid oak frame with tapered legs and a front stretcher, and two oak uprights hold the back from behind.
The gathered detail hides the small creases that form in any upholstered back over time, so the chair keeps looking tidy longer in a high-turnover room.
Construction: solid oak frame with clear commercial lacquer; seat on plywood with high-resilience foam; back panel on a plywood shell, upholstered and fixed to the oak uprights; floor glides.
Where it works: restaurant dining rooms, steakhouses, hotel dining, wine bars where guests stay for several courses.
Options: vinyl, leather or fabric (COM accepted) in any colour; oak natural or stained. Foam and fabric can be specified to meet AS/NZS fire requirements on request; check with your building certifier. Final sizes confirmed on the shop drawing.
