Bright, light and easy to move, the Collingwood is the kind of setting that suits a corner cafe with big windows and a takeaway counter. Each chair is a chrome-plated steel tube frame carrying three horizontal timber slats at the back and a slatted timber seat, finished in a warm mid-tone stain. The matching table has a square timber top on four chrome legs with corner brackets.
Slatted timber dries fast and wipes clean, so the chairs cope with coffee spills and the 6 am mop without fuss. The steel frames keep the weight down for staff stacking chairs at close, and the open look keeps a small room from feeling crowded.
Construction: chrome-plated steel tube chair frames with fixed timber slats; table top in timber or timber veneer with sealed edges on a chrome leg frame; floor glides on every leg.
Where it works: all-day cafes, bakery cafes, brunch spots and casual counters where tables are pushed together for groups.
Options: stain colour, powder-coat instead of chrome, table top sizes from two-seat to four-seat, and a round top on request. Final sizes are confirmed on the shop drawing.
