The Subiaco is a dining chair with a bit of polish. A tall rectangular back panel of woven cane sits in a slim frame with a warm wood-grain finish, the seat is a padded cushion in a deep green leather-look upholstery, and each leg ends in a small brass-tone foot cap. It suits venues that want the texture of cane but a sharper, more tailored outline than a bentwood.
The frame can be made in solid timber or in aluminium with a wood-grain finish; the metal version is lighter and shrugs off the knocks of a busy dining room. Both are confirmed on your quote.
Construction: frame in solid hardwood or wood-grain finished aluminium; cane panel set into a routed frame; seat on plywood with high-resilience foam; brass-tone foot caps over floor glides.
Where it works: restaurant dining rooms, hotel bistros, wine bars and private dining rooms.
Options: seat in vinyl, leather or fabric (COM accepted); frame colour; foot cap finish. Foam and fabric can be specified to meet AS/NZS fire requirements on request; check the requirement with your building certifier.
